Every year, our self-financed Homeless In-Reach program works with hundreds of the long term elderly street homeless individuals out of our Woodstock Hotel facility in Times Square and Coffeehouse Center across from Port Authority. This last year we were able to place a homeless senior, on average, every ten days.

Just this year The New York Times wrote about how, “the emergence of an older homeless population is creating daunting challenges for social service agencies and governments already struggling to fight poverty.”­­

Our Homeless In-Reach Service team knows this to be true first hand through their daily encounters with street homeless seniors who take advantage of the cluster of key services we provide – most importantly a pathway to housing.
